Killer

Post by what

Got some really neat stuff going on right now. Chad and Kristian just got back from Woodward West. If you want to see the footage, it is on the Transworld website, it is really neat. Adrian is doing really swell uo in the Bay Area. I sent him a bunch of pairs of shoes yesterday, so that is neat. I think Tom and Dan both got shoes sent out to them last week. I know Tom got his becuase he told me so. I am really pleased with that. I think Elliot is still out on tour with the Birdman right now, last time i spoke with him, he said everything on the tour has been super neat. Is anybody going to be in Vegas next week for Magic? If you are, it would be neat if you stopped by the booth and said hi. Has anybody seen Sumner? He might still be over in the UK but i'm not positive. I just haven't heard from him for a bit, and well I miss his neat text messages about the Angels he always sends me. Johnny has really been doing a super job competing on the Super Moto tour this year. He is currently in fourth place in the series. It would be so neat if he made the top three in his first season.
So much neat stuff right now.

Bittersweet

So, we lost a member of the action sports family over the weekend, and it sucks. In case you didn't hear, 21 year Anthony Hart, tragicaly lost his life this past weekend after crashing his motorcycle during a practice run of the

2008 XTRM/AMA Supermoto National Championship in Stafford, CT. Anytime I hear something like this, it truely hurts my heart, and the entire NSS family's thoughts are with his family and friends during this time. RIP.

NSS Super Moto Pro Johnny Lewis was on hand for the event and had this to say. "I didnt really know Hart.. in a way I think it was better, it was still hard on me and the team... never something you want to see happen..."

On a much lighter note, Johnny had a good weekend comptitevly speaking, winning his first round moto with one of the fastst lap time of the weekend. In the final, he put in a solid race only to get caught in some lap traffic on the last turn, and get passed for third place. So, Johnny took his second consecutive fourth place finish. This result leaves him very much in contention for an overall series championship. Keep up the good work Johnny!

SC Fiesta

Post by tired.

Dang this weekend was crazy! Non-stop action packed partying. All capped off with a wonderful sun filled day at the annual San Clemente Fiesta. There was a dunk tank, a petting zoo, face painting, Big Ed's hot dog stand, multiple stages and bands playing, young kids, old folk, pretty girls, beer gardens. NSS was representing giving away shoes, stickers, shirts to some lucky kids. It was ridiculous, i'm having trouble conentrating on anything today. The Shys rocked, that was the only band i really got to pay attention to, but the right band. If you haven't already, i recomend you check them out. I hop we can work with them on something someday. Anyway, i'll try to write more later, i need to go get some food in my belly.
Peace.

Today was a long day. Scrambling to get photos turned in for a number of different projects we are working on. As well as trying to get this website closer to completion. Everything came together in the end, which is nice. Should have the rest of the team section up in the next day or two. Hope everybody had a great weekend and got to check out some of the X Games either in person or on TV. Pretty sick tuff went down this year, it was fun to watch all those athletes pushing the limits beyond what i thought was poosible. Really makes you take a look at yourself and ask, "am I doing the best that I can?" I know it did for myself at least.
On another note, Brian Sumner came by the office today and brought in a copy of an episode of "The Uprising" which will begin airing in october. Again, another very inspirational show. Can't wait for it to start airing.
That's it for today. Bye
